It has been estimated that the number of fires related to climate change has been increasing at an extremely fast pace, as much as 20% higher in cases like Australia.

During the recent bushfire season, the damage inflicted on Australian forests has been tremendously high, and nearly 3 billion animals were killed or dispersed.

Unfortunately, much more alarming has been the case of Brazil, whose illegal fires destroyed great portions of the Amazon vegetation, not prepared to cope with fire and that will need more time to recover.
