We are living in a world that is constantly facing difficulties, wars, violence, and fights between different populations.

For instance, in 2017 a total of 378 conflicts across the world has been registered, 186 of which represented by violent crises and 20 high-intensity wars. And it looks like it is getting worse and worse every year.

In this global situation, it is difficult to stay positive and find a bright side.

However, we might have hope.

The European Union represents a unique example of pacific coexistence between different populations, having all their own culture, language, and religion: a beautiful reality that we, as Europeans, often take for granted.
