“Empori solidali”: a direct experience of volunteering deeply rooted in the territory.

The reality of “Empori solidali”, “Solidarity stores”, is widely spread. They are a sort of special grocery store, managed by volunteers and different associations.
People living in difficult situations can come and take, through a peculiar system of payment, whatever they need, especially food and primary goods in general.

Every customer coming to the store is given a certain amount of points per month that he/she can use and manage to “buy”, once a week, the products he/she needs.
Everyone can help these realities, by freely giving them some products from their weekly grocery shopping, or by investing some of their time to “work” there, as a volunteer for such a noble cause.
